Soft Drummer is a versatile session drummer that fits right in your pocket. It offers more than just a drum machine, as it can musically improvise with pure acoustic drum sounds played with brushes, hot rods, and hands. This provides the warmest grooves for soft pop, ballads, jazz, Latin, and more.

The latest update brings a new Audio-MIDI Export feature, allowing you to easily get multi-track or full mix outputs in seconds. Additionally, the Live Pads feature enables you to play live sessions on the go with eight assignable pads and buttons for fills, intros, and endings. With MIDI controls, you can effortlessly control Live Pads using any MIDI controller with just four buttons, like the iRig Blueboard. Furthermore, it's now easier than ever to synchronize Soft Drummer with other apps using Ableton Link.

One of the standout features is the ability to send generated drums via MIDI to any sound source, drum machine, or synthesizer. With 50 multilayer sounds featuring three different hit types (ghost note, accented note, and drag/open), Soft Drummer provides an authentic natural sound thanks to its round robin alternating samples. The random generators offer instant creativity and inspiration.

The software also includes four effects: Compressor/Gate, Equalizer, Delay, and Reverb. The Song Mode is an extra-fast tool for creating rhythmic structures for your songs in seconds. Other features include Ableton Link Sync, MIDI Sync, control of several parameters through MIDI Control Change and Program Change, MIDI Out support, and a Sound Module with MIDI In.

For those who prefer MIDI controls, Soft Drummer offers assignable MIDI controls out of the box. Some of the default controls include Play (G2), Live Pads (C1-G2), Fill + Play/Stop (A2), and Fill (C2). You can also control various other aspects such as tempo, crash cymbal, song selection, and more using MIDI Control Change and Program Change.
